Nawal Marwan's final wish unleashes a cascade of secrets, propelling her twins on a quest to uncover their origins in Lebanon, the fractured and wounded country their mother escaped. This gripping and unpredictable play delves into the lives of two young individuals grappling with cross-border animosity, unending wars, and boundless love, all leading to the revelation of a chilling truth.
"Incendies" is a contemporary Oedipus story, written by the acclaimed Lebanese-Canadian playwright Wajdi Mouawad, and has also been adapted into an award-winning film.
