Jane Eyre
Beit Zvi School of the Performing Arts | 2016
From the outset of her life as an orphan, amidst poverty, deprivation, and heart-wrenching betrayals, Jane Eyre steadfastly follows her heart in a relentless pursuit of freedom and fulfillment.
Contrary to societal expectations and the challenges that life throws at her, Jane's indomitable spirit flourishes as she transforms into a young and opinionated woman. Despite her humble beginnings, she excels in her studies and secures a position as a private tutor at the Thornfield estate, where she finds herself entangled in a love affair with its owner, the enigmatic Lord Rochester.
This audacious and dynamic adaptation breathes new life into Charlotte Brontë's 19th-century classic, placing the impossible love story between the penniless Jane and the aristocratic Rochester at its core.
