Come Home

Mediatheque Theatre |  2021

Winner of the Best Show award in Assitej Israel Awards, 2023

Little Joe may lack toys or fancy clothes, but he has Lassie – his best friend and the most beautiful and intelligent dog in Greenwool Bridge. The villagers marvel at Lassie's remarkable tricks, and soon, the wealthy Duke of Darling becomes interested and decides to purchase her from Joe's humble family, adding her to his collection of dogs in the castle.
When Joe learns that the cruel hound, Haynes, plans to take Lassie to distant Scotland for training, he resolves to break into the duke's castle and rescue her. Despite their efforts, Joe and Lassie find themselves trapped in the trunk of a car headed to Scotland, alongside Max, the duke's timid grandson. In the midst of the journey, Joe takes action against the kennel, and the three escape the vehicle. Now stranded far from home, they must find a way to return to the village without being captured.

The arduous journey home is fraught with adventures and dangers, but Lassie's wisdom helps the two children navigate through challenges. Slowly, Joe and Max transform from adversaries into genuine friends, but will they manage to make it back home, with Lassie?
